Mission Statement
The mission of Morning Star Christian School is to assist Christian families and their local church to develop Godly leaders.
Philosophy of Education
Morning Star Christian School's Philosophy of Education is based on Psalm 1.
Our Doctrine
- The Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
- The incarnation of Jesus Christ
- The atonement for sins based on the death of Jesus on the cross
- The Holy Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God
- The bodily resurrection and the hope of eternal life for all believers
- The imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ
Affiliation
Morning Star Christian School is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities and is a 20 year member of the
Association of Christian Schools International.
Curriculum
The core of the academic program consists of the A-BEKA Curriculum published by the Pensacola Christian College. This is a strong Bible centered
curriculum, integrating moral values, patriotism and Christian principles. It is a highly academic education system utilizing a conventional
teacher directed classroom. The system follows a traditional approach of reading with phonics and math with memorization and drill.
Our Name
Jesus refers to Himself as the "... bright, Morning Star" (Revelation 22:16). The wise men came from the east following "His Star" (Matthew 2:2).
As our name implies - It is our desire to focus our students' attention on the examples of Christ, His Words, His Attitudes, and His Actions.
