The bus service of our school has been implemented to provide save affordable transportation for our students. The charge is $540 per year or $60 per month for nine months (billed October through June). This works out to about $3.00 per day, round-trip. This charge actually only covers less than 60% of the actual costs for fuel, maintenance, and driver. With only 2 busses covering Tumalo, Bend, SunRiver, and LaPine, we can't possibly accommodate everyone with door to door service. Stops may be added as long as they do not alter the basic bus route.
Parents should be at the bus stop 5 minutes before A.M. & P.M. schedule times. In bad weather the bus will sometimes be running a little late. Please do not call the school office unless the bus is running more than 15 minutes behind, or if you are reporting a known breakdown.
